Opera House in the Spring

Metz is blooming! It's called the city of flowers for good reason! I imagine they must use less chemicals in the grass because the wild flowers are everywhere! Whoever came up with the idea that pure green lawns are prettier then this is sadly mistaken! As school rolls to a finish, there are lots of projects coming up...perhaps less time traveling and perhaps more time enjoying others' company if I stick around. We celebrated Pooja's birthday last week dancing at Bar Latino, after some pool.  Getting downtown was interesting... Brenna and I started to think that we weren't meant to go downtown. First we decide we are simply not going to make the first, because there was some miscommunication as to when we needed to leave, second, we would have been on time if we did not get stopped by a french person requesting our uncomprehending help. So we were half way across the street to making that bus, but missed it. And then we got to wait an hour for the next bus! But it all worked out as we unexpectedly ran into Richard, and his brother and father who had happened to be visiting. They came along downtown as well to shoot some pool and join the group at Latino. It was a Wednesday night, so it appeared we had rented the place out for GTL. It was awesome in a way, and we stayed until the lights went out.
